Feeding the People in WW1 (exhibition at St Lawrence's
The Great War brought fundamental changes in the way of life in Britain - and in Evesham - as elsewhere. In particular the demand for men - and horses - and the restrictions on imports arising from the threats to shipping led to major changes to the methods of farming and food production, and even to people's diets, which persist to this day.

This was the subject of a display in St Lawrence's Church in the Autumn of 2015
